Practical AI for Real Organizations
I help organizations understand, implement, and deliver AI in ways that are useful, responsible, and aligned with how real systems operate—especially in regulated, mission-driven, and complex environments.
Many organizations are told to “use AI” without clear guidance on what that means in practice. My work focuses on translating AI concepts into reliable, accountable solutions that support decision-making, improve efficiency, and respect governance, security, and human oversight.
What This Site Covers
This site is organized around two core questions organizations are trying to answer today:
What does AI actually do in real organizations?
Explore practical, real-world examples of how AI is being used today to support security, planning, coordination, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
→ AI in Practice
How is AI implemented responsibly and reliably?
Learn how AI initiatives move from ideas to production through disciplined delivery, governance, security, and change management.

Where I Focus
My work sits at the intersection of technology delivery, organizational reality, and risk-aware execution. Areas of focus include:
Secure and responsible AI/ML implementation
Federal and regulated program environments
Decision-support systems and predictive analytics
Data governance, privacy, and compliance (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, IAM)
MLOps, cloud integration, and operational readiness
Change management and stakeholder alignment
The emphasis is always on outcomes, trust, and sustainability, not experimentation for its own sake.
Experience Across Complex Environments
My background spans federal-adjacent programs, nonprofits, education, and large organizations—often working in contexts where reliability, accountability, and coordination matter more than speed alone.
This includes experience supporting or working alongside programs involving agencies such as DoD, DOT, FCC, GSA, NIST, NASA, and NSF, as well as enterprise and mission-driven organizations navigating modernization and AI adoption.
A Practical, Grounded Approach
Across different sectors, a few principles remain consistent:
AI works best as decision support, not decision replacement
Human oversight is essential in regulated and high-stakes environments
Governance and security must be designed in from the start
Adoption and change management determine real success
This site reflects those principles and how they show up in practice.
